Frequently Asked Questions
What should be done if ZTEK is ingested?
ZTEK products are for external use only. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. ZTEK formulations are safe and effective when used as directed and an important resource for reducing the spread of germs.
Can I purchase directly from ZTEK?
Yes, we wholesale directly to some larger customers. For smaller orders, ZTEK uses a network of distributors across the United States. To find a distributor in your area, please use the WHERE TO BUY on our homepage on this website.
Do ZTEK personal care products kill the good germs and the bad germs?
Our bodies are covered with germs that help us stay healthy. These are considered “good” germs and, since they reside on the body, are referred to as resident germs. In addition to the good germs, we are also exposed to ones that we pick up from contact with other people or objects. These are called transient germs. It is these germs that are often responsible for making you sick. Similar to washing your hands with soap and water, ZTEK products reduce some of your resident germs while killing the transient germs. However, in both cases, your body quickly regenerates your resident germs which are generally harmless and actually important for healthy skin.
How many uses are in a 4 fluid ounce ZTEK container?
If used as directed, a consumer can get 75 uses out of a 4 fluid ounce container.
Are ZTEK products non-allergenic?
Our personal care products are tested by independent clinical laboratories to make sure they are hypo-allergenic, non-sensitizing and non-allergenic. We use safe, effective, naturally derived plant-based ingredients and all-natural fragrances.
Are ZTEK’s ingredients and formulas certified natural?
All of our products are formulated to meet our baby-safe standards. We utilize plant-based, natural and certified organic ingredients (on our product labels, certified organic ingredients are highlighted with an asterisk (*), in accordance with COPA standards), then add any carefully chosen synthetics or preservatives needed to create safe, effective formulas.
Is ZTEK hand sanitizing products safe to use on my baby?
